"Why are all actors so strong and in shape?" Because they make us move and hang heavy things and make us work out 3 times a week.

It is so hard for me not to dance to my music while studying in the library. I just want to sing and jam. That’s all. I also had a monster so that doesn’t help the whole sitting still thing.

Somebody told me everything’s alright

That life’s too short to be afraid

Sometimes, when the everyday chaos appears to be too much, I need reassurance that everything will be OK eventually. Maybe the moment is not OK, but it will be. Maybe I’m not OK in this moment, but I will be. No amount of time could ever be enough in this life, so I’ve got to accept the moments I’m allowed and strive to make them the best I can.

Be kind, now keep a smile, keep your head up

And try to find a friend or a child

And encourage their life

Look on the bright side

I’m not good at math, and I’m clumsy with my words when I’m in front of large groups. I question my confidence on a daily basis, and I haven’t seen my natural hair color since sixth grade. But my smile is mine, and I wear it proudly. I questioned my smile for many years, if it was real or just another accessory, but I’ve found meaning in my smile and in its purpose. I have two little sisters, one who is 21 and one who is nine, and I need to be the best I can for them. I need them to smile. I need them to know they are one of the reasons I smile.

Rise up now make an impact

Now get your bags packed

Think about your life, the thrill,

Don’t you cry, look on the bright side of life

Sometimes we are filled with this overwhelming desire to be heard and to be acknowledged. We want to change the world, and we want to do great things. We deserve them. I deserve them. It’s taken me years to muster up the courage to leave behind the comforts of home and take a step into something beautiful. It is scary, but it is worth it. It is my life, and I’m adding stories of relationships and community into the pages of my book. There are many facets of life, but I’m trying my best to always look on the bright side.

Vivid flashes of a memory like getting your favorite toy at Christmas, seeing a loved one die, or remembering exactly what you were doing during 9/11, are called “flashbulb memories,” and they are formed during times of high emotion or surprise. Source
